Oct local service project: AIDS Walk Austin

Thank you to those who participated in the AIDS Walk Austin event on Sat, Oct 16th!  AIDS Services of Austin exceed their $165,000 fundraising goal this year and many braved the hot sun to walk for a good cause!

Join the WOV Austin AIDS Walk Team!  We will be meeting downtown near City Hall at 1:15pm on Sunday afternoon, Oct 16th.  The walk begins at 2pm.  Afterwards, join us at Jo's Hot Coffee House for fellowship while traffic clears up!

Our goal as a team is to raise at least $400 for Aids Services of Austin by each registering for the walk at the $20 level.  But as with all things WOV, do not let that $20 be a stubmling block to joining us.  You can also register for free, the only stipulation in doing so is that you won't receive a walk t-shirt.  If you really want that t-shirt, < : simply pay the $20 individual registration fee and enter zero as your "individual fundraising goal."  If you desire to raise funds on your own that's great, but please know we are not asking you to raise any money other than the $20 individual registration fee.
