Due to sudden illness, Shayne Moore cannot be with us this Monday night, March 19th at 7PM - Bethany UMC Church – 10010 Anderson Mill Rd , RmD208 to speak at the Women of Vision meeting.
Please welcome our new guest speaker Karen Marion. Karen is a WOV member from the Washington state area who has been extremely involved in helping move the Washington chapter forward in the fight against Human Trafficking. She has personally lobbied on behalf of this issue. Karen, has taught for the past 38 years in public and private school. She will be sharing her compelling and personal experience on human trafficking. While a teacher, she taught students who were trafficked and would leave school to go work as prostitutes. Karen now a retired teacher will be sharing about how her WOV chapter began their journey combating the Human Trafficking issues in her city and state, and what they are currently doing in the fight against Human Trafficking.
